In the past, Nevus Outreach had been able to significantly reduce the cost per person because of Foundation support for our conferences. For 2022, this funding is not available. You can help to meet the conference budget, IF YOU ARE ABLE, by paying the full conference fee ($399) for your registration.
However, Nevus Outreach wants everyone who wishes to attend the conference, to have the opportunity. So, if the subsidized amount will enable you to attend, please select that option. Please choose ONE of the two options for each person in your party as you register.
Some financial aid is also available and you can also hold a grassroots fundraiser for Nevus Outreach to help reduce your conference costs. More information on Grassroots fundraising will be available mid-March!
**If you fundraised for the pandemic postponed 2020 conference, your grassroots fundraising efforts will be recognized and you will receive an email regarding the conference registration process by COB March 4, 2022.**
Financial Aid applications will be available on our website (www.nevus.org) beginning March 21. Applications are due no later than May 1, 2022.
Children (0-4) will attend Daycare (Kiddie Corp) onsite, at the DoubleTree, during all educational presentations Thursday & Friday. (Children are not allowed in the educational presentations.)
Kids (5-11 years) will visit the Denver Children's Museum in the morning, take a lunch break at a nearby park, and visit the Downtown Aquarium in the afternoon.
Teens (12-17 years) will visit Elitch Gardens and have lunch on site.
Age brackets are determined by the age of the child in July 2022.
Kids are not allowed in educational presentations. Teens may attend as appropriate.
All kids and teens will visit the Urban Air Adventure Park and have lunch at a nearby restaurant or park, TBD. Will return to the hotel early afternoon and have the afternoon to visit the crafts or game room.
RESEARCH UPDATES: Research updates will be presented on Wednesday afternoon prior to the conference kickoff at 3:00 pm. If you wish to attend the research updates, please plan to arrive by noon on Wednesday.
COVID-19 PROTOCOL: Nevus Outreach Staff and volunteers are working closely with the hotel to ensure compliance to all local, state and federal COVID-19 protocols at the time of the conference. At this time, in Colorado, masking is not required nor is proof of vaccine status. Any changes will be communicated directly to conference registrants as it is available.
TOTAL BODY PHOTOGRAPHY: While dermatology consults will be offered, total body photography will not. This program of the conference was developed during a time when digital imaging was not as accessible, and the Conference Committee felt it was time to retire this offering.
HOTEL: To make your hotel reservation, click HERE. The room rate is $135.00 per night and includes shuttle transportation during select windows (watch for transportation survey coming soon!) from the Denver International Airport. The rate also includes complimentary wifi throughout the hotel. We also can't forget complimentary DoubleTree chocolate chip cookies!
